Shawn is a California based Ashtanga teacher and owner of Om Shala Yoga studio. He is a long time student and current assistant to senior teacher David Garrigues and is honored to have worked with hundreds of students across three continents.

I first discovered yoga in 1979 at the tender age of 15. When my life veered off into low self esteem. It is my aim to clarify a deeper and compassionate connection to self, purpose, joy and inner sovereignty through the ancient practice of yoga combined with modern science.
Shemaia Skywater
Shemaia Skywater is a yogini with more Ethan 3 decade of yoga practice and teaching experience. She has been a student of Anusara Yoga since 2001. As well, she has spent 25 years exploring music as a healing force and regularly hosts sound healings here at the studio!
Skip Sumbera
After years of chasing healing and trying to fix myself, I discovered that true transformation comes from acceptance and meeting life directly, with presence, honesty, and courage. Now I guide others inward to integrate the deeper wisdom of their experience and discover the truth of who they are.
A Martens
Hi, I'm A (they/them)! My Hatha-based classes are appropriate for students healing from injuries, beginners, or long-time students looking to be re-inspired by the roots of their practice. I use use lots of props to modify poses and make them work for YOUR body.

Emily Cooper-Hertel
Emily offers vinyasa classes that support alignment, build strength, and foster mental clarity. She teaches yoga with the intention of integrating breath and movement with greater seasonal, philosophical, and cultural connection.
Sasha Miksis
Sasha’s exuberant love for yoga shines through in every class she leads. With roots in Ashtanga and Baptiste Yoga, her classes are fiery yet grounding. She began her yoga journey in 2004 and in 2012 became an E-RYT certified Yoga Alliance instructor.
Tara Fulgenzi
Yoga and meditation has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember.
In 2014 I completed a 200hr YTT at Shambhava Yoga Konalani in Hawaii. Since then I have also completed a 300hr Advanced Teacher Training at Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja MX.

Laura is passionate about yoga as a radical, embodied practice of collective liberation, and she is delighted to reconnect with her Om Shala roots and offer a monthly community rest practice!

Azaria Mohr
Yoga found me during a transformative time and became my safe haven. My intention is to create a space where students feel safe to explore, grow, and discover gratitude for who they are. Together, we support one another on the journey of self-discovery.

Emi creates safe spaces for women to build confidence, self-trust, and community. With 12+ years in movement, yoga, and meditation, she brings a passion for mindfulness, nutrition, and self-expression to her work, believing that meaningful change begins within.
