This class is designed to support deep rest and nervous system health. Expect gentle movement and longer-held poses (5-15 minutes) with lots of props for support. During longer pauses in fully supported poses, the body can deeply relax as the parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated. The pace of this class is very slow and the intention is to practice resting, slowing down, relaxing, and building resilience to stress. There is minimal stretching and muscular effort.

Restorative yoga is valuable for everyone and can be particularly beneficial to those who experience stress, anxiety, insomnia, and muscular tension.

Beginner and advanced practitioners alike are encouraged to weave this class into their well-rounded yoga practice. "
