This nourishing, accessible, and trauma-conscious monthly offering is a soft and sweet invitation to rest deeply in community as an embodied practice of liberation. Beginning with grounding somatic practice and intuitive, instinctual movement, we will weave together gentle Yin and Restorative poses with pranayama (breath expansion), meditation, and internal guided awareness practice. Everything is an option and cozy props are centered as you are gently guided to soften into layers of support, abiding with compassion and loving-kindness in the wholeness of your self while cultivating a radical sense of embodied spaciousness for grief, joy, and consciousness to flow. Soft crystal bowls, chimes, and bells will be offered throughout, and we will conclude with an extended Savasana (final resting pose) and Yoga Nidrā (Yogic sleep) practice to drift gently into this profound state of conscious deep sleep - the realm of regeneration, restoration, liberation, and bliss.
Bolsters, blocks, and blankets provided, but feel free to bring an eye pillow, a favorite blanket, and/or any additional cozy items to support you as you rest.
