My personal journey with yoga began over 20 years ago. Travels and explorations have taken me through several different styles of practice, from Anusara, Ashtanga, Vinyasa flow, Bikram, and others in between. In 2013, while traveling in India, I completed my 200 hour teacher training studying Ashtanga yoga. In 2016, I completed 120 hours of Anusara immersion here in Arcata. My teaching style combines gems from both of these philosophies, greatly emphasizing breath and alignment.


For me, yoga has always been a way to connect with my body and my soul. Showing up on my mat for yoga asana brings me back to myself. The state in which I find myself on my mat is a metaphor for the rest of my life, the way I show up for myself, the states I find myself in, and the way I show up in the world. I love to share the passion with others, and strive to meet people where they are in each moment, because I believe yoga is for everyone.
