My journey with yoga and Buddhism began in high school through self-guided study. After studying world religions and dance in college, I embraced homesteading, teaching dance, and gardening, but a back injury from physical strain and a car accident left me unable to practice yoga.
Determined to heal, I turned to meditation and later discovered Sean Bertsch’s Old School Hot Yoga, where core and back exercises helped me recover. Seeking deeper spiritual connection, I trained with Peggy Profant at Om Shala Yoga and developed a teaching style that blends strength, stretching, breathwork, and introspection.
My classes aim to help students heal physically and ease life’s struggles by cultivating a connection to the sacred yoga trance.
