My name is Ali, I am a mom of 3 girls. I have been teaching yoga since 2009.

MY BACKGROUND
I began my yoga journey in college. With a dance and gymnastics background, I was naturally drawn to yoga. After becoming a mom in 2012, I noticed the importance of yoga for my own Mental Health. I began advocating Self-Care for Moms and families, teaching the importance of self-care for a healthy family system.
I inspire moms to incorporate a daily yoga practice into their busy lives and encourage them to model self-care for their families. I teach Kids Yoga through games and songs.
MY EDUCATION
I completed my first Yoga Training in Anusara yoga with Robyn Smith in 2009, and began teaching right away. This gave me a wonderful foundation of alignment and body mechanics to create a fun and safe class.
In 2018 I completed a Yoga Psychology program with Ashley Turner, and now incorporate Yoga for Mental-Emotional Health, tools for regulating, and Yoga for Depression, Anxiety, Overwhelm, & Resilience.
In 2020 I completed a 300 hour Advanced Yoga Training with Sam Akers, with an emphasis on therapeutics, recovery, ball rolling/self-massage, Restorative Yoga, and Yin Yoga.
