What is a Mysore practice?  It’s your own personal customized yoga practice!  In this style of teaching you move at your own pace through as many or as few postures as you see fit.  Shawn will be on hand to assist you as needed, answering questions as you go and offering customized variations to suit your unique interests and needs.   This class is suitable for all levels of yoga experience.  It is a particularly advantageous way for a newcomer to begin to learn the ins and outs of asana. This may be different than what one typically finds in western yoga studios, however is it incredibly rewarding to have autonomy to explore what best serves your unique anatomy. Humans are incredibly diverse- so is  their yoga practice!  In this class you won’t have to try to keep up with a teacher or with fellow classmates- it truly is a case of “you doing you”.

This is an “open room” session- come at any time and stay for as long or as short as you like.  Got questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out.
